Description and Motivation

Goal: Identify public policy boards, commissions, committees to which nonprofit leaders can bring their knowledge, skills and perspective

Nonprofit leaders can bring community-based perspectives, knowledge of complex social issues and solutions, and skills in planning, collaboration and problem solving to the planning and policy-making process.  To develop the influence necessary at the highest levels, nonprofits must understand and take part in the bodies where planning and decision-making is located.
