Voice and Position

Ensuring that our sector can raise its voice and be heard is key to our mission. By actively promoting a positive image of our sector and our member organizations, we change perceptions and ideas about the role of nonprofits in our community. With a dedicated staff focused on image management and event planning, we always spotlights nonprofits. The nonprofit sector is, after all, the HERO. As a EA alliance of nonprofits member, you'll be privy to various resources to increase your voice, be heard, and more importantly you are part of a larger voice.

Community Events and Issues

Our sector claims a variety of major successes on behalf of our communities. Although these successes are fantastic on their own, combined and marketed to the general public, they take on a whole new power. We promote a positive image of nonprofit leaders as essential to a vibrant community and thriving economy. Our successes can be found in our News page.

Planing and Decision Making

By promoting increased participation of nonprofit leaders in community planning and decision making, we ensure a brighter future for all nonprofits. We're passionate about bringing key players to the table so everyone has a voice. Our focus group of Executive Directors with the Puget Sound Business Journal, Strategic Partnerships, and Public Policy events such as the upcoming Nonprofit Day in Olympia are examples of our work.

Internal Issues for the Sector

Within our own sector there are sub-sectors, each with complex and unique issues. By strengthening our sector from within we ensure that our voice will be taken seriously when decisions need to be made. Our Leadership Development, Events, and Programs & Services help unite us.
