Issues Forum

Every nonprofit faces issues that are often specific to their individual mission, sub-sector, or community. However there are issues that are far reaching and have a significant impact on every organization and the nonprofit sector as a whole. Through hosting quarterly Issue Forums, Alliance FOR Nonprofits Washington creates a platform for nonprofit professionals and organizations to learn about topics, ask questions and engage thought-leaders about the issues in the civic, political, economic and business arenas that can influence and affect NPOs.

This event was a huge success! With moderator Steve Scher from KUOW and panelists John Burbank from the Economic Opportunity Institute with the YES Campaign, and Joe Barer with Lake Partners representing the NO campaign, nonprofit leaders and community members enjoyed a lively and interactive debate.  The issues are complex and the answeres are not clear cut.  Join the conversation and share what you think in our members area!
