This event, moderated by Grace Chien, CEO of Girl Scouts Totem Council, was a great success, bringing together the diverse viewpoints of R ita Ryder (President, Strategic Initiatives, YWCA of King and Snohomish Counties). Putnam Barber (Senior Consultant,Executive Alliance), Mark Hugh, CPA (Mark Hugh & Associates), Dr. Kriss Sjoblom (VP of Research, Washington Research Council) and Remy Trupin, (Executive Director, Washington State Budget and Policy Center). With closing comments by Barbara Flye, Executive Director of the Washington Tax Fairness Coalition, attendees were given an overview of the Washington State tax structure, criteria for a healthy tax system and a look at some of the issues currently being debated in policy and advocacy circles.
